Neuropsychiatric disorders
We support individuals with neuropsychiatric disorders such as:
- Acquired brain injury (ABI)
- Complex epilepsy
- Early onset Dementia
- Brain haemorrhages
- Severe behavioural disturbances post-stroke
- Genetic neuropsychiatric conditions
- Unclassified neuropsychiatric conditions
Our clients often have complex needs, which cannot be met by mainstream hospitals or care homes. This includes clients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983/2007).
Individuals who require continuous IV drugs, dialysis, or are on a mechanical ventilator would not be candidates for admission while they require these services. We do not serve individuals who require feeding pumps or other non-oral methods of nutrition.
Between Harcourt House and our Outreach Service we can offer intensive rehabilitation, transitional rehabilitation and continuing care in the appropriate setting.
Through our Outreach services, we offer integrated rehabilitation solutions to adults who live in the wider community or who have completed a rehabilitation programme with us and are ready to return home.
